My Webspot

I ordered a week before and had some issues on my end and they did a good job of responding but on the day that we needed to use the pocket wifi, there were technical issues and I was emailing them contacting and asking for help. They said to keep it on and on my end I rebooted it and tried to do all the usual to have the wifi working to no avail. Their last email was to have me keep it on while their tech team fixes it. 1,2 and now 3 days have passed and I’ve been emailing and trying to call and they aren’t responding at all (due to holidays, but their troubleshooting team should still be contactable). I am still waiting for a reply from them as we speak…

This was the easiest and most reliable experience! We had it delivered to our hotel and it arrived on time! Very easy to set up. I carried in my purse all day and charged at night. Easy to return. I paid the extra for postage paid envelope. So, I packed up and left with hotel to drop into the post(but could've been dropped off at any post). Never had any issues and will use every time I travel internationally.

If I could, I would rate this company a "0"!! Ordered a Device online, and they didn't manage to send me even a shipping notification after 4 working days (6 days in total!) Tried customer service several times, only 1 time someone picked up and promised me a shipping information - again.... zero success (even paid in advanced). No reply to my emails I sent in several numbers. No reply to my message I want my money back Conclusion: 1. Zero customer service 2. if you plan on a product for your vacation - forget it (don't count on it) 3. Do not recommend this company at all. You pay, they fail

Terrible service. Poor performance. My AT&T phone in 19 countries at it's worse was 3x faster than this WiFi HotSpot. They pre-charged me $601 for a system I received on 5/15 for service through 7/28. I returned on 5/26 (at my earliest convenience - and stopped using the system for a week prior) at the 1st postal system I found in the UK. I was in constant communication w/them on the issues. I received terrible technical support answers. As a former CIO - their answers were insufficient to explain the problem. I provided them photos of the return and the tracking # of which they received the package per the tracking #. I have put a dispute in w/Citibank MasterCard for a full refund.

We used mywebspot in December when we made a trip to Germany and Austria. Especially for my Asian girlfriend this service was extremely helpful as she could stay in contact with here friends and family back home through video call. We never reached the daily data limit which is 1GB, coverage was good (I guess it has similar weakness as local provider). I suggest you take your personal powerbank or you rent it from mywebspot as the battery does not hold more than 7/ 8 hours depending on your usage. Sending it back was easy as you just need to return it in the envelope attached. Will book it for my next trip too!

Terrible customer service. I ordered my mobile hotspot two weeks ago (order 158710 for reference) and it got “lost” in the mail. Understandable. Stuff happens. I never received a tracking number so I’m now not positive it was actually sent. They are very difficult to get ahold of on the phone and only sometimes respond to emails (after long periods of time). After a full week of trying to figure out where it was and when it was going to arrive, I asked them to resend me another one and asked them to overnight it as I needed it for business while I traveled. I was even willing to pay for the overnight at that point. They told me it was not my fault and they would overnight a new one and refund me the money for the days I paid for that I didn’t use. Sounded fair. They did not overnight the new one like they said they would. I once again did not receive a tracking number, and once again the package was not delivered. I am now two weeks from when the hotspot was supposed to arrive and I finally just canceled my order out of frustration. Lack of communication, not following through on commitments (like overnighting the hotspot and failing to return calls in “5-10 minutes” 3 different times), and not receiving any shipping or tracking information means I will never work with this company again. Nor would I recommend you work with them. I don’t write reviews like this ever as I am a business owner and understand the difficulties but when a company doesn’t even try to make things right for weeks and it costs me money in lost business I felt this should be shared with others who may be in a similar boat. Don’t count on my-webspot if you NEED internet.

Got what we expected and wanted - connectivity throughout Europe. Used this device for my family of 6 traveling through France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy (coast to coast). Battery lasted really well. Collection was easy at Charles de Gaulle Airport and we returned it via a pre-addressed and pre-stamped envelope - couldn't be easier! I'll never do a European holiday without it!!
